First Session of the Board of Inquiry to determine the facts and circumstances that led to the mass murders in the "Vladislav Ribnikar" Elementary School and on the territory of Smederevo and Mladenovac - in Malo Orasje and Dubona, to determine the omissions in the exercise of competence and take appropriate actions, to determine the responsibility of the authorities persons and propose measures

The Board of Inquiry to determine the facts and circumstances that led to the mass murders in the "Vladislav Ribnikar" Elementary School and on the territory of Smederevo and Mladenovac - in Malo Orasje and Dubona, to determine the omissions in the exercise of competence and take appropriate actions, to determine the responsibility of the authorities persons and propose measures held its First session on 18 July 2023.

Pursuant to Article 25, paragraph 1 and articles 68 and 69 on the National Assembly Rules of Procedure and item 3 of the National Assembly Decision to establish the Board of Inquiry to determine the facts and circumstances that led to the mass murders in the "Vladislav Ribnikar" Elementary School and on the territory of Smederevo and Mladenovac - in Malo Orasje and Dubona, to determine the omissions in the exercise of competence and take appropriate actions, to determine the responsibility of the authorities persons and propose measures, the session was convened by National Assembly Speaker Dr Vladimir Orlic.

Pending the election of Chair of the Board of Inquiry, the session was chaired by the oldest member of the Board of Inquiry, MP Prof. Dr Andreja Savic, of the IVICA DACIC – Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) Parliamentary Group.

Marinika Tepic, of the UNITED – SSP, PSG, OVERTURN, SLOGA Parliamentary Group was elected Chair of the Board of Inquiry, and Biljana Pantic Pilja, of the “ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – TOGETHER WE CAN DO ANYTHING” Parliamentary Group was elected Deputy Chair.

The session was attended by the following members and deputy members of the Board of Inquiry: Aleksandar Markovic, MA Igor Becic, Natasa Jovanovic, Veroljub Arsic, Ugljesa Grgur, Pavle Grbovic, Ljubinko Djurkovic, Miroslav Aleksic, Dragana Rakic, Marija Jevdjic, Nebojsa Zelenovic, Nikola Dragicevic, Sanja Jefic Brankovic, Dragan M. Markovic, Bosko Obradovic, Radmila Vasic, Robert Kozma, Zsombor Ujvari, Mirko Ostrogonac, Aleksandar Olenik and Dejan Bulatovic. The session was also attended by MP Tatjana Pasic.
